It also clamps to flat surfaces such as desks and countertops (from .2" to 1.75" or 5mm to 44mm). Perfect solution if you're renting a bike or need to move your mount between bikes. Securely grabs the bars, but is quickly removed using the thumbscrew. No tools needed.
