On some avalanche backpacks that are designed to deploy the Avalanche bag in the shoulder straps, such as the Highmark Charger X Vest, or Highmark Spire Vest, you don’t want to use the shoulder clamp mount. Instead, you can use the backpack’s molle straps to attach this vertical mount.
