Clutch cover gaskets are made form an AFM Material which is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core
Aluminum core gives the gasket strength for a superior seal and prevents the gasket from weeping or crawling out in today's engine cases with limited sealing surfaces
No sealants required for installation
Save service time as AFM will not stick to the engine case making replacement quick and easy, no more scraping
AFM is a compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core with a high temperature resistance of more than 250 °F; it has an 85% recovery while maintaining a strong torque retention
No gasket sealants or silicone bead is required, re-torque is also not required
