- No sealants required for installation
- Aluminum core gives the gasket strength for a superior seal and prevents the gasket from weeping or crawling out in today’s engine cases with limited sealing surfaces
- AFM is a compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core with a high temperature resistance of more than 250 °F; it has an 85% recovery while maintaining a strong torque retention
